The president of International Council of Churches and Member of Great Britain (ICCMGB), His Eminence archbishop Dr. Samuel Richard Addae has urged Ghanaians to petition God for peace through prayer ahead of the November polls.
Archbishop Dr. S.R Addae also the general overseer of Shiloh United Church Ghana West Africa has slated April 26, to pray fervently to seek for peace in the country at the church cathedral at Tanaso in Kumasi.
This, he said, is part of the church religious and spiritual responsibilities to pray for peace sustainability needed in the country. He noted that it is a collective responsibility that all believers endeavor to support.
The “Mpaebo Kese” program will be graced by other prominent men of God as His Lordship Bishop Devine Agyemang Badu, Shiloh united church Effiduasi diocese, Prophet. Theophilus Bentil among many others.
Rev. Bentil in an interview indicated that, “April end of month prayer intercession of the church is set for liberating believers from bondage, as well as praying for peace before, during and after the election”.
He has however called on Ghanaians to come and pray together to support the occasion.
